Food Drive To Save Lives

Imagine a 5 year old girl. She's siting on a couch at home, wondering when her next meal will be. She hears keys jingling by the door, and turns to the noise hoping it’s someone with some form of nourishment for her empty belly. Quickly her excitement dwindles.

Childhood hunger is not simply a moral issue. Scientific evidence suggests that hungry children are less likely to become productive citizens. A child who is unequipped to learn because of hunger and poverty is more likely to be poor as an adult. Thus, the existence of childhood hunger in the United States threatens future American prosperity.

No one should have to wonder when their next meal will come, or if it ever will. With cold weather and empty stomachs, people are in need.

The Tarrant Area Food Bank is on a mission to distribute food to those in need, and we are joining them.

With a small donation, you can help us reach our goal to provide at-risk children and families with the food they need to not only survive, but thrive.

We want to also let you know that as active Agents of Change we are committed to keeping our community members in good hands. Every 60 days we will elect a new worthy cause to support, and would love for you to join us! And if you know of someone who could use help, please visit the link below to enter their information. We will get in touch with them as soon as possible.
